See, the LORD your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession... Do not fear or be dismayed. Moses is talking to a generation whose parents died in the wilderness because they were too afraid to move forward the first time. He's not pretending fear isn't a real option here — he's naming it directly, and telling them not to let it drive.
What stands out is the order: the land is already set before them. The opportunity isn't in question. The only open variable is whether fear gets to make the decision instead of them.
Most of us know that feeling — an open door in front of us, and a very convincing internal voice explaining all the reasons to stay put. This verse doesn't dismiss the fear as silly. It just refuses to let it be the final word.
