Remember your Creator in the days of your youth is easy to hear as a warning aimed at teenagers, but the reasoning underneath it is more universal than that. The Preacher isn't saying youth is dangerous — he's saying it's the season before the evil days come, before the years arrive when you'll say I have no pleasure in them. He's talking about timing, not age specifically.
There's something almost tender in how he frames it. He's not trying to scare anyone into compliance. He's naming a real pattern: it gets harder to ask big questions honestly once life narrows and energy runs low, once the years of "no pleasure in them" set in. Better to face the question of who made you, and why, while you still have room to actually wrestle with it.
